Welcome to Fiber Connect 2025! We are making history this year and are thrilled you are with us as we mark the occasion. This year is the start of something that has been 50 years in the making. Our theme for Fiber Connect 2025 is “Light It Up,” celebrating our biggest year yet in fiber broadband deployment.
We are also celebrating the work of the innovators, pioneers, visionaries, and critical thinkers who first envisioned a future when everyone was connected. Celebrating the people, like Dr. Charles Kao, who invited fiber optics, and Radia Perlman, who created the Spanning Tree protocol. Celebrating the companies that connected computers, built networks, and imagined what was possible when the internet and fiber broadband came together to underpin a vibrant, new digital economy where no one is left behind, where any garage could be the incubator for the next Meta, Netflix, or Google.
We are at a clear inflection point in our world, one that can change everything – from how we live, work, and play, to how we stay healthy, enjoy entertainment, and how we educate the Generation Fiber.
I can’t imagine a better place to be than here, with so many within our industry celebrating this moment. Thank you for joining us and being a part of history. We cannot wait to see what comes next!
