The SDE24A module can encode up to two input sources, source 1 and source 2 in real-time. The module may be configured to encode both sources 1 & 2 in either MPEG-2 or MPEG-4/H.264 transport streams. Thus each Encoder Module can output either one or two MPEG-2 streams, one or two MPEG-4 streams, or one MPEG-2 and one MPEG-4 stream. Each SDE24A module provides two sets of input connectors for NTSC composite with stereo audio. Audio is encoded using Dolby® AC-3 encoding.
