Controller

Maria is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 20 years of experience in accounting, financial management, and business operations. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico and has built a diverse career supporting organizations across the manufacturing, wholesale, cruise, and medical device industries.

Maria combines strong technical accounting expertise with a practical business perspective. She is experienced in analyzing financial performance, managing complex accounting and operational challenges, and partnering with executive leadership to provide meaningful financial insight for strategic decision-making. Her areas of expertise include financial reporting, inventory and cost management, revenue recognition, process improvement, budgeting and forecasting, and internal controls.

As Controller, Maria is committed to maintaining strong financial discipline while supporting AMT’s continued growth and operational objectives. She focuses on building efficient processes, enhancing financial visibility, and providing accurate and timely information that enables leadership to make informed business decisions.

Outside of her professional career, Maria is a dedicated marathoner. Her passion for long-distance running reflects the qualities she brings to her professional life—discipline, perseverance, consistency, goal-setting, and the determination to continuously improve.
